Qualifications: You must be at least 18 years of age.1 to 3 years of warehouse experience. You must have the ability to repeatedly lift up to 50lbs. You must be willing and able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. You are willing to work overtime as needed. Bilingual is a plus but not necessary. You must possess a valid Driver’s License.
Responsibilities: The Forklift Operator/Material Handler is responsible for ensuring that our product is moved within our warehouse in a safe and efficient manner by forklift operation and physically loading/unloading our trucks.
They are also responsible for proper inventory being maintained, and good housekeeping and warehouse standards are upheld.Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of ELECTRIC sit-down forklifts and reach trucks.
Inspect, document, and unload trucks/containers of raw materials and finished goods items, verify receipt to order documentation, sign and stamp bill of lading, and receive inventory into the system using computerized scanning equipment Picks work order demands, stages products for production use, and returns unused items to inventory.
Conducts pre-op inspection on all material handling equipment used and reports any equipment issues or damages. Properly use and cares for hand-held scanning equipment.
Keeps receiving/warehouse area and equipment clean and organized: sweeps, picks up trash, tapes up any open cases and organizes empty pallets, etc. Adheres to all safety rules as well as attends assigned training. Responsible for partnering with others, and sharing knowledge, skills, and information within the assigned team and across functional areas.
Compensation: $18.25.00 / hour 1st shift, $18.75 on 2nd shift.
